The MusicNet App provides an experience to the audience at the musical pieces to be performed at ImagineRIT 2014.

These three pieces are:
• Pulse and Mood – shows how music affects the mood of the audience.
• Map – piece that focuses on the “connectedness” of the audience and musicians and includes a conversation between the two
• Mixing Board – complex piece where audience votes when a musician will move into the next “musical cell.

Imagine RIT 2014
============

Join us for a live musical concert to explore the connection between audience members and musicians during a live performance. This exhibit presents collaborative works between Sound ExChange, a Rochester-based musical ensemble, and faculty/students from CIAS and GCCIS.

Through the use of video, motion capture, and mobile devices, we initiate a conversation between musician and audience that will continue throughout the course of the musical program. You are invited to join in the conversation by using specially-designed mobile apps that will be available for download prior to the performance.

The single performance begins at 2:00 pm and will run approximately 60 minutes. In addition, 30 minutes will be dedicated after the performance for you to engage with the musicians, artists, programmers, and the technology used during the show.
